i thought it would be fitting to partake in a little thing called “texas tuesday” hosted by some pretty cute, fellow-texan bloggers amanda & j. it’s a weekly link-up for bloggers writing about texas, whether they are from the lone star state or not! and i love me some texas, so here we go:
when in texas….
visit the state fair and eat all the corn dogs & fried food you can
until you want to puke
get yourself a pic with mr.big tex
sip on the sweetest ‘sweet tea’ of your life
use southern jargon.
like “yall,” “bless her heart,” “reckon” & “oh, hell”
(yes, we really use these words/ phrases!) 🙂
find yourself some good ‘ol cowboy boots
& a sexy guy cowboy hat
float one of the many floatable rivers
hit up 6th street
and last, but not least, take in the beautiful texas scenery &
bluebonnet-y landscapped country roads!
