our friends over at greenville avenue pizza company are always slayin’ the freshest dough, but they’re also always looking for ways to give back to the community and one of the many ways they do that is by hosting an annual “slices for supplies” drive right before back to school time where if you bring school supplies to donate (all donations go to zaragoza elementary where molly used to work) you get a free one-topping slice of pizza, which is basically equivalent to two slices since they’re so large! this year is their 6th annual and i don’t think we’ve missed an event yet, it’s always so fun to go. (here is my last post about them!) lowest greenville feels like it got such a facelift over the past few years so we love going down there to eat GAPCo yummy pizza, see friends and try new desserts.

we tried so many different variations as you can see: meatball, black olive & basil, feta & green olive and ham & green olive. all equally yummy!

we also got to try their specialty pizza of the month which is called ‘the truck yard pizza’ and it’s insane you guys! they collaborated with their next-door neighbors at truck yard to use their shaved philly cheesesteak and then they layer on onion, green bell pepper, mushroom and cheeze-whiz…..yes, cheeze-whiz. it’s all baked to perfection and each bite is creamy and cheesy to the core. read more about it here – you gotta try it while you can.

after we stuffed ourselves with delicious pizza we were wanting a sweet treat and usually opt for steel city pops or joy macaroon ice cream sandwiches, but we haaaddd to try lowest greenville’s newest addition: creamistry. they use liquid nitrogen to handcraft their ice cream right when you order it & it’s all customizable. my sister & i walked in and saw they had fruity pebbles bars so we split a “fruity pebblewich” with their madagascar vanilla bean ice cream and it was so, so good. we will definitely be back to try more flavor!
