tailgating gypsy spring looks

tailgating gypsy is a super cute boutique i discovered while in canton a few weekends ago & the owner, amanda, & i made a connection post me-shopping-there. she’s a fellow #boymom giving off good vibes & i love the clothing she sells, this beautiful kimono is from there. she invited me to see her new spring collection early (see more here) & share it with you guys as a sneak peek for what’s coming & trending for spring. new inventory is hitting the site daily, so keep checking back for new arrivals and if you want to shop her boutique in person, she is at canton first monday trade days, find the dates for that here & you can find her boutique also in spice village in waco if you’re ever there. i love any opportunity to connect with small, local businesses & expose great places to shop with you all so i hope you enjoy these looks. && let me know which is your fav in the comments below!

look 1: a really pretty, paper-thin, but not see through, jumpsuit in a killlller color combo. i like it paired with a dark-washed cropped jean jacket and a hat, obvs.

look 2: red pinstripe maxi dress that is lined & has pockets! i especially love how long it is, it barely drifts behind me. styled it belted & with my new, white chinese laundry booties.

look 3: what i was calling a ‘batwing’ tee because the sleeves are so flowy and fun and i loved the tie detail.

look 4: floral & snake skin kimono that’s light & delicate so it goes great over long tanks with tights or jeans & a simple white tee!

look 5: lace & leopard tank in blue that i wanted to have fun with by mixing designs so i threw on a pastel kimono by free people & paired it with bell bottoms (last wore these beauties here & here). the black bralette adds an added layer of lace, too.

look 6: the everyday maxi dress in charcoal, one of my favorite looks because it’s so practical as a mom to just throw one piece of clothing on and feel put-together. the fact that it is super soft & has pockets for chapstick and my phone is a major plus. i belted it & wore with my sam edelman fringe booties, a thrifted super western-y belt & a necklace my mom bought me at the melrose trading post in los angeles when we went.

which look is your favorite?

let me know!
