we celebrated atlas’s 3rd birthday this month & it was too cute not to share! he’s really into excavators, different trucks and anything construction-related, so i knew he would love a “3 & diggin’ it” construction-themed birthday party!

naturally, we have various trucks in different shapes and sizes around the house, so bringing this party theme to life wasn’t too tricky. i made a paperless post invitation to kick things off, have a color scheme & then plan decorations. i got a lot of inspiration from pinterest (see my party board here) and then went to my trusty sources to get the ball rolling. i ordered most of the decorations from amazon, got some party supplies from walmart and his little “3 & diggin’ it” t-shirt is from etsy. i love decorating, bringing a party theme to life and celebrating my kiddos, so this was soooo much fun for me!

we invited friends & family over at 10 am for lite bites & outdoor playtime. the main attraction of the party was an inflatable bounce house that we set up in our yard along with other toys like a mini trampoline, push lawn mower, ball pit and a slide for the kiddos. since most of my friends have kids around the same age, it’s extra fun to get everyone together and see the little ones interact and grow closer.

shop the décor:

i made rainbow fruit skewers & my sweet mom made the “traffic light” brownies and the chocolate cake with oreo “dirt” and edible rock candies, soooooo cool and delicious!

chocolate cake & chicken minis = the best combo!

the after party

this was the best construction-themed birthday party for our toddler! atlas loved everything about it & was beaming with pride that it was all for him. we’re so thankful to our friends & family for coming to celebrate with us & loving on our big three-year-old boy!
